It's late, but it's done
its 11:34 on a Sunday, and I just finished throwing almost 300 kicks.
did I mean to start them significantly earlier in the evening: yes
but that doesn't matter because I still did them.
and they were good too, tonight was the first night since I started doing them that I broke 50 of one kick in a minute (I actually got to 51, and all my other kicks were also improved, if only by 1 or 2, but positive trajectory nonetheless).
so I figured that if I can do that I can FINALLY stop telling myself, "oh this is the week I'll pick back up on my blogging, because although it's almost midnight, and this post isn't incredibly insightful, or particularity well-written, it doesn't matter because I still did it.
I figure I need to get into the habit of writing anything at all, and then once I have that down pat, then I can worry about making them worth reading. I need to change my thinking from "I need to wait until the writing conditions are just right so I can try to articulate this thing I've been thinking about so it comes out just right," or "I really need to write out a bunch of those writing assignments so I can get caught up" (making them a thing to just check off, rather than a tool to understand my training, like they're supposed to be you dingus) and instead just think about "I need to blog anything at least once this week" because I think that will be what will help me the most right now.
